Overview -
Joju George played double roles for the first time and was produced by Martin Prakkat, starring Anjali, Srikanth Murali, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Srinda and others.
After Joseph and Nayattu, Joju's magnificent cop roles, that too in a double role, this is undoubtedly his career best performance.
DYSP Pramod Kumar and ASI Vinod Kumar - brothers who have haunted the mind for some time, working in the same profession but standing on two levels, two completely different characters who have experienced the bitterness and sweetness of life through two different situations, both of which were safe in the actor Joju George and the audience felt no similarities in between the two characters. He presented it magnificently. Also worth mentioning are the performances by Anjali as Malini, Sreeja Ajith, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Srikanth Murali, Arya Salim, and those two children who played Joju's childhood with a handful of excellent performances and character creation with heartwarming yet tense acting moments that will stay in the mind of the audience even after watching the movie.
Positives -
Looking at the technical side, Jakes Bejoy's songs and background score were also an asset to the film. The well-written script and the character sketches given to the central characters deserve special praise.
Statutory Warning
Never approach this movie as a feel good / happy ending entertainer. Because the climax of the movie can sometimes haunt you. As an audience I am very disturbed after watching the movie. The movie goes through many dark and dirty incidents of life that we never want to happen to anyone, even if it is our enemy. You may simultaneously hate the central character and at the same time, somewhere, remember the eternal goodness in him and love him.
The writer and director who created such a magnificent character along with the actor definitely deserve applause. Just give them that approval.
Opinion -
Iratta is the scariest, haunting film that touched my heart deeply after 'Saudi Vellaka'. A Must Watch movie.
