After the long 18 years, The BIG M's Re-united together for another Film, with a huge Starcast and Promising Technical support behind this flick. But personally I don't have much more Expectations regarding this Multi-starrer.
OVERVIEW ⭐
The story evolves around covert operatives uncovering a Massive Surveillance conspiracy that threatens National Security. It blends Espionage, Politics, and Technology (data privacy angle). Dr. Daniel James, a Scientific Advisor, working for the Defence Research Wing, suddenly one day he was manipulated by the political leader JP Sundaram and his Son Shakti, a Corporate Giant. Daniel's Hidden fight against the Corporate and the Political agenda reveals the Truth and Reality of the Digital World and Data Privacy of every common man.

Absolute Showdown of The OG's of Mollywood ๐๐ฅ
The major USP of this film is Mammootty x Mohanlal Reunion. This film offers some High Moments Combination Scenes of the Duo. That's felt worthy for me. Both of them just nailed by their Powerful Performance. Especially a Single shot sequence with Chackochan was one of a nice moment in the entire movie.
Both of them Dominates the Film as the Central Character as well as an Extended Cameo Character. Their Strong Screen Presence and Intensity carries Emotional weight.
Technically Top Notch Making Quality ❤๐ฅ๐
Mahesh Narayanan Quality Making and Technically too sound approach Engaging throughout the Film. VFX Department, Colour Grading, and the Action Choreography was also nice. Especially that Making of the Massive Interval Block was one of the Best High Moment of the movie.
Sushin Shyam Songs was nice, especially the 'Manushyan' song and it's visualization was nice. But the BGM not upto my level. Not felt a punch and most of the time it's flat.
Content Oriented Storytelling and Socially Relevant Theme ๐ฏ
In the first half, the movie excells and engaging with the audience by its intense storytelling and highly relevant social issue. Many more movies discussed this similar content but in PATRIOT, which is addressed by one of the Powerful Actor in the Industry with his Power-Packed Performance. So it's not a Typical Mass Masala stuff but a slow-paced Content Driven Approach.
NEGATIVES ๐
Got a Golden Chance, but it's partially Wasted ๐ฅฒ
This time Director Mahesh Narayanan got a Golden Opportunity with the Biggest Starcast and Technical Team, but I actually confused that he was completely utilised it or not. Because most of the time the movie wasn't fully used the potential of A10 and Ikka. Even their intro scenes were too cold and simple. Not created any impact into the audience. So you might be disappoint regarding this context.
Miscast and little bit Lengthy ๐
Three Hours duration of the movie is a main drawback and many scenes felt unwanted and lagging. Also some of the cast wasn't appropriately executed. One of the major miscast was Fahad Faasil character. Fahad was already done similar character in too many movies. Also that climax portions was another disappointment. Because it felt like too forced and predictable. Not much impressed for me.
FINAL VERDICT ๐ฅ
PATRIOT is a Movie which consists a Strong Content and Technical Brilliance but lacks in the writing part and a Solid Script. Lower your Expectations and go to the cinemas to experience a slow paced Political Thriller.
