KHALIFA (2026) MALAYALAM MOVIE REVIEW

KHALIFA (2026)

A Film by Vyshakh

Style. Swagger. Action. Attitude. But...

KHALIFA comes in with plenty of confidence and delivers a Stylish Action Thriller Experience that works well in parts, even though the film is weighed down by some glaring writing issues.

The biggest strength of the movie is undoubtedly its Overall Making Quality. The film looks rich on screen, with impressive production values, slick visuals, and a strong technical presentation that give it a polished feel. The Background Score of Jakes Bejoy also adds a lot of Energy to the Action Blocks and elevates several moments.

The Performances are another Positive. The cast manages to hold the screen well, especially during the more intense and action-oriented portions. There’s a certain mass appeal and attitude to the presentation that keeps the film engaging whenever it focuses on its core action elements.

However, the Biggest drawback is the Screenplay. The narrative struggles to maintain a consistent flow, with several forced situations, convenient developments, and predictable moments that make the story feel less organic. Some sequences feel unnecessarily stretched, while certain developments seem to exist purely to push the plot forward.

The Cliche and Unwanted Cameos are another Major Distraction. Instead of adding real value to the narrative, some of them feel forced and take away from the momentum that the movie builds. A tighter screenplay and better integration of these elements could have made the overall experience considerably stronger.

My Opinion ๐Ÿฟ

KHALIFA still has enough Style, Action, Technical Quality, Performances, and BGM to work as a Decent One-time watch. It may not completely live up to its potential, but there’s enough entertainment here to make the experience worthwhile.
